Hosseiny, 25, and her mother, Hamideh Soleimani Afshar, were detained after the State Department revoked their permanent resident status, green card Because of her ties to the Iranian regime, as the State Department said Saturday.

Halasius Bradford, a 50-year-old piano instructor who rents a single-story home from Afshar, told The Washington Post that the mother and daughter were arrested in dramatic fashion around 5 p.m. Friday. He noted that before the arrests, ICE had been active on the streets. “It was crazy to see what was going on. I saw three LAPD patrol cars and one or two from ICE,” he said.
Husseini and her mother’s online identities highlight their glamorous Los Angeles lifestyle, featuring designer items and jet-setting experiences.
In the photo posted on Instagram, Hosseini looked radiant and camera-ready, her long dark hair framing a calm face as she held a fluffy puppy and leaned against a dark coat.
Her fashion choices range from a structured black corset paired with a delicate pink skirt and oversized sunglasses to casual yet well-designed outfits.
Other symbols of luxury include photos posed next to helicopters and designer accessories, conveying an image of a jet-setting, influencer-ready influencer that contrasts sharply with their modest suburban home.

In one photo, taken from a low angle, she is wearing fishnet stockings and a skirt that does not cover her buttocks – an attire that is certainly unacceptable in Iran.
Afshar arrived in the United States on a tourist visa in 2015, was granted asylum in 2019, and later became a green card holder.
