Netizens are questioning the Pima County Sheriff’s Department after it shared a post on X announcing the arrest of a homicide suspect. The Sheriff’s Department announced that they had captured Nicholas Allen ColemanAfter previously absconding Nancy Guthrie and her kidnapper, netizens began asking why it took so long to find her.

Coleman’s arrest came just hours after the Pima County Sheriff’s Department shared a “person of interest” post about Coleman.
“Mr. Coleman was taken into custody without incident and is currently charged with first-degree murder and possession of drug paraphernalia. We would like to thank the community for their assistance in locating Mr. Coleman. The investigation remains ongoing,” the Pima County Sheriff’s Department wrote in its latest update.
Netizens quickly commented on the post, with one netizen saying: “But you still can’t find Nancy after more than 100 days?” “Where is Nancy????” wrote another post.
Nancy was last seen on the night of January 31st. She was reported missing on February 1 from her home in Catalina Foothills, Tucson, Arizona.
Who is Nicholas Allen Coleman?
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department did not release much information about Coleman other than to describe him as a 22-year-old man with brown hair and brown eyes. Before Coleman’s arrest, it said in a previous post that he was a person of interest “in a homicide investigation involving the death of an adult male.”
“Mr. Coleman also has an active arrest warrant for drug-related charges,” the poster reads, adding that he “should be considered armed and dangerous.”
The Pima County Sheriff’s Department did not specify whose murder Coleman was wanted for. Many people began to wonder whether this case was related to Nancy’s disappearance, but judging from the details, it seemed not to be the case. Authorities have not said the two cases are related.

It has been several months since Nancy went missing, but there has been no update on her whereabouts and no suspects have been found.
