Victory confirmed the acquisition on Tuesday, marking its first investment in Scotland. The luxury hotel features 208 rooms, golf course, spa facilities, self-catering cabins, marina, restaurant and private cinema.Commenting on the acquisition, Moresco said Cameron House stood out because of its location, history and reputation for Scottish hospitality.“This acquisition reflects our strong belief in high-quality assets in attractive locations,” he said.“Cameron House combines stunning beauty, tradition and luxury with legendary Scottish hospitality. We are delighted to be making our first acquisition in Scotland and we continue to view the UK as a compelling investment market.”Victory Group is based in London and specializes in hospitality and property investments. The current baronial-style building replaces an early 19th-century castle, which has been operating as a hotel since 1990.KSL Capital Partners bought the estate in 2015 for more than £70 million and oversaw a major restoration project after a fatal fire in 2017 killed two guests.
