Late night on Thursday, February 12, law enforcement officers conducted a traffic stop on a new gray Range Rover. Catalina Foothills area, just a few miles from Nancy’s home. Officers reportedly seized the SUV in a parking lot near Culver’s restaurant and surrounded the vehicle with a piece of paper while a forensic team recorded and processed it. The driver of the Range Rover was also arrested for questioning and later released.
Meanwhile, a SWAT team was dispatched to a nearby home to conduct an investigation related to Nancy’s kidnapping. The team took several people from the neighborhood for interviews and later released them. Channel 2 Now reports that shortly after authorities seized the gray Range Rover from the parking lot of Culver’s restaurant, they arrested a woman named Kayla Noel Day at her home at 11 p.m. on February 12, 2026. The next day, February 13, the SWAT team detained another man, Luke Anthony Daley. The time of their arrest was confirmed through official arrest records, Channel 2 Now reported.
