former union high school football coach Travis Turner Still missing, investigators are conducting a nationwide search for the 46-year-old, who is currently considered a fugitive.
Authorities said Turner disappeared on Nov. 20, 2025, as police prepared to open a criminal investigation into him involving charges of sexual exploitation of a minor.
According to Virginia State Police (VSP), Turner is wanted on 10 felonies, including five counts of possession of child sexual abuse material and five counts of using a computer to solicit a minor.

No update on Travis Turner’s whereabouts
Turner, who was the head football coach at Wise County Union High School in Virginia, disappeared shortly before investigators spoke to him about allegations involving a 16-year-old student.

What did Travis Turner do?
Turner, a 46-year-old married father of three, is accused of sharing child pornography and sexual exploitation material and sending disturbing X-rated messages to a 16-year-old student over a three-month period, The Sun reported, citing a family insider.
According to police, when agents from the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation’s Wytheville Field Office responded to Turner’s residence on Nov. 20 to conduct an investigation, they learned that he had left.

Her family has since criticized the Wise County School District’s handling of the entire incident, saying it failed to properly notify authorities of the allegations.
Virginia State Police did not release any further details about Turner’s charges other than to say he is wanted on five counts of possession of child pornography and five counts of using a computer to entice a minor.
