The suspects are Abraham Kayumi and Emir Balat
Law enforcement has identified the suspects as 19-year-old Ibraham Kayumi and 18-year-old Emir Balat, self-radicalized extremists who, according to internal police sources, have been deeply involved in ISIS propaganda and have visited recognized terror training centers. turkeySaudi Arabia and Australia.
After their arrest, they both admitted they acted out of anger and claimed the right-wing demonstrators had “insulted their religion,” sources said.

Investigation is ongoing
Federal and city investigators are currently working together on the case. A search warrant was executed at the suspects’ residence in Pennsylvania on Sunday, and a suspicious bottle similar to the original device was found inside a Hyundai associated with one of the suspects. This item has been safely neutralized. Both suspects are expected to be transferred to federal custody and the bomb will undergo further analysis at FBI headquarters in Quantico, virginia.
