“Is there only one shooting one person asked on Facebook. additional “I was on the phone with my sister and she was at Walmart and told me she was going to Ross and as we were talking she ended up stopping to get her eyebrows done and I hung up the phone and went on Facebook and saw Ross’s shooting in Killeen and thanked God for pointing her in the direction.”

Another person on X commented “I heard there was a shooting at Rose in Killeen today; I’m not sure if anyone was hurt.”

The Killeen Police Department has not officially commented on the incident. It has not been confirmed if anyone was injured, and details of possible suspects are not yet known.

One person warned: “Shoot at Ross in Killeen. Stay out of the way.” Another said: “Shooting at Ross in Killeen, please check on our families now.” People shared screenshots of social media chats from people who said they were at the store when the incident occurred.

One message showed the person had to run out the back door because there was a shooter there.

Killeen has an open carry rule, which means individuals can bring firearms into a Ross store as long as they have a valid license and the weapon is holstered as required by state regulations.
