Fans and well-wishers of influencer Ashlee Jenae are seeking clarification after an unconfirmed social media post claimed she was found dead in Tanzania.
How did these claims emerge?
On Sunday, PR expert Savannah Britt, who claimed to be Jenae’s friend, posted on X that Jenae had died in Tanzania and called for answers.
“We need justice for my friend Ashley Jenner, who was found dead in a hotel in Tanzania where her fiancé Joe McCann claimed she hanged herself. Anyone who knew Ash knew she would never take her own life. We need answers now,” she wrote.
The post quickly gained traction, attracting millions of views within hours and generating widespread reactions online. Many netizens expressed shock and doubt about the situation described in the post.
One person wrote: “Going on holiday to hang myself… No, something isn’t quite right.”
Another added, “I’m so, so sorry. I was just enjoying her content a few weeks ago and oh my god this is so disgusting.”
A third user speculated, “There’s no way she could have committed suicide. She was actually proposed to while traveling and it was her birthday. Who would go to Tanzania to commit suicide? From the looks of it, she was having the time of her life.”
