The suspect reportedly fled south on Madison on Route 63, leading to a large police presence in the area. The suspect was described as a man wearing a black backpack.

“Our hearts go out to them and their loved ones, and the safety of our tenants, employees and community is our top priority. We are working closely with the NYPD and cannot comment further while the investigation is ongoing.”
