An authoritative expert said that the physical evidence left behind Nancy Guthrie’s Renowned forensic psychologist Dr. Gary Brucato told TMZ that Nancy could have been “killed” somewhere else entirely, suggesting the main crime scene wasn’t actually her home.

Brucato said the exterior of the home, particularly the blood stains found on the front of the home and the deliberately left open back door, suggested it was “carefully planned.”
“It’s entirely possible that she wasn’t taken or killed from there,” Brucato said. “It’s entirely possible that it happened somewhere else, that someone created a blood trail at the front of the house, a door in the back was opened and so on, giving the impression of a kidnapping, but she was actually killed somewhere else, or whatever fate befell her, I’m sorry to say, somewhere else.”
Brucato said the kidnappers may have staged the scene to mislead law enforcement and created a false narrative about the location of entry and the nature of the fight. He said the level of manipulation suggested there was a “mastermind” behind the kidnapping. He added that they might even stage the crime scene to look like a kidnapping when in fact it might just be a homicide.
Is Nancy Guthrie still alive?
Brucato comes to a grim conclusion: Nancy’s chances of surviving are very low. Months after Nancy went missing, there has been no update on her whereabouts, and no suspects have been found. While the Guthrie family is tormented by the uncertainty surrounding the case’s outcome, her daughter Savannah Guthrie Previously even admitted that her mother may be dead.
