In this sequence, to ensure ‘easy life’ for the residents of Lucknow, I will be involved in the rollout plan of 250 electric and CNG vehicles of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation in the near future,” the CM wrote.Describing these vehicles as a twin-engine symbol of the government’s commitment, CM Yogi emphasized their role in strengthening waste management infrastructure in Lucknow.“These vehicles are a symbol of the twin-engine government’s commitment to cleanliness, sustainability and environmental protection. Through them, Lucknow’s efforts to be clean, smart and green will gain greater momentum,” he said. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister on Monday conducted a routine ‘Janata Darshan’ at the Chief Minister’s residence in Lucknow to interact with citizens, listen to their grievances and interact with them as part of his routine outreach programme.During Janta Darshan, officials received instructions from the chief minister to address issues highlighted by the public. The program is part of CM Yogi’s ongoing outreach to maintain direct contact with residents.Highlighting Uttar Pradesh’s record in government employment, the chief minister on Sunday said the state had provided nine lakh government jobs in the last nine years and emphasized transparency in the recruitment process. “Uttar Pradesh is the most populous state in the country. The state has a population of 250 million and in the last nine years, we have provided government jobs to 9 lakh youth. No one, not even the opposition, can question the transparency of a single job or the selection process,” CM Yogi said at the appointment letter distribution ceremony for 665 paramedics in Lucknow.
