Utah Steel Fire Map, Evacuation Updates: Fire near Eureka burns acres; smoke visible in Juab and Tooele counties
A wildfire known as the Iron Fire is burning northwest of Eureka, Utah. The fire was first reported Saturday morning and had grown to about 4,700 acres by 1:30 p.m. local time. Fire officials report the wildfire remains at 0% containment. View map here.

Evacuation update
As of last report, no mandatory evacuation orders have been issued for the Iron Fire. However, as conditions can change rapidly, residents in areas near the fires are advised to remain vigilant and follow guidance from local authorities.
Smoke and visibility
Smoke from the Iron Fire could be seen across northern Utah, including parts of the Wasatch Front, Juab and Tooele counties.
The haze in Salt Lake City and surrounding communities has also been linked to smoke from the Iron County Sawmill Fire, which has burned about 3,700 acres, as well as larger wildfires in Nevada and Arizona.
