New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Wednesday attended the Uttar Pradesh Investment Roadshow in Tokyo, where he described Uttar Pradesh as a global hub for skilled labor and a huge consumer market with a population of 250 million. The minister noted that sustained policy reforms over the past nine years have transformed the state into a premier global investment hub.The minister also claimed that Uttar Pradesh is India’s food basket and the state with the most water resources. Addressing a rally in Tokyo, UP CM Yogi Adityanath said, “Uttar Pradesh is known as the food basket of India. Uttar Pradesh is also the state with the most water resources in India. Considering the needs of Uttar Pradesh, we have determined the population of Uttar Pradesh to be 250 million. Of these 250 million people, 56% are young people, part of the labor force. In any field, you can always find skilled human resources. Today, Uttar Pradesh provides affordable and quality human resources to various sectors. “
He added: “Today, Uttar Pradesh alone accounts for 95 per cent of India’s highways. Uttar Pradesh has India’s largest railway network… I would like to invite Japanese business leaders to visit Uttar Pradesh and contribute to taking forward the private industrial park plan. I am happy to report Uttar Pradesh’s significant success in air connectivity. In the past nine years, we have operated 16 domestic airports and 4 international airports in Uttar Pradesh, and India’s largest international airport, Noida International Airport, is about to become operational.“CM Yogi Adityanath further said, “There are many opportunities in Uttar Pradesh, and the effects of the government’s policies over the past nine years are obvious. Uttar Pradesh has become one of the fastest-growing economic states in the country.”The Uttar Pradesh CM added: “Uttar Pradesh is the birthplace of Lord Ram, king of Suryavanshi, and the holy place of Lord Buddha… Uttar Pradesh is the center of Buddhism and has various holy places of Lord Buddha’s life.”Meanwhile, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath arrived in Tokyo today on an official visit aimed at enhancing investment opportunities and industrial growth in the state.During his visit to Japan from February 25 to 26, he is expected to participate in important meetings and interactions during the visit aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation and exploring investment opportunities for Japan.
