U.S. Central Command says three U.S. service members were killed and several others injured in “Operation Epic Fury” against Iran“As of 9:30 a.m. March 1, three U.S. service members were killed and five others were seriously injured during Operation Epic Fury,” Central Command said.

The report further stated that several people were injured and “several others have suffered minor shrapnel injuries and concussions and are returning to duty. Major combat operations continue and our response efforts are ongoing.”However, it did not reveal the identity of the deceased, saying family members needed to be notified first. “The situation is unstable, so out of respect for the families we will withhold further information, including the identity of the fallen soldier, until 24 hours after next of kin has been notified,” the statement said.Operation Epic Fury was a massive military offensive led by U.S. President Donald Trumpin Tehran early Sunday. Its main goal is “decapitation attacks” to eliminate Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and key members of the country’s political leadership.israeli army under prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu Also participated in the operation codenamed “Operation Lion’s Roar”.The attacks were carried out in broad daylight and targeted Tehran’s political and administrative districts, including the Office of the Supreme Leader, the Presidential Palace and the Assembly of Experts. The attack also killed Khamenei’s daughter and grandson as well as senior military officials and caused numerous civilian casualties, including at a girls’ school in southern Iran, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
