The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure (MoEI) has partnered with 42 Abu Dhabi to launch a dedicated artificial intelligence hackathon aimed at creating technology-driven solutions to improve government services in key sectors.The program will bring together programmers, developers, entrepreneurs and young innovators to design AI-powered tools to streamline processes and make energy, infrastructure, transport and housing services more efficient.Organizers said participants will work to find practical solutions to real-world challenges facing the ministry, focusing on projects that can improve service delivery, enhance infrastructure sustainability and enhance the quality of life across the UAE.The hackathon is part of the ministry’s wider strategy to expand the use of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies in government operations while supporting the country’s digital transformation goals.Contestants will compete in a collaborative environment under the guidance of industry experts as well as experts from MoEI and 42 Abu Dhabi.
