U.S. blocks access to Anthropic’s Mythos AI model over national security concerns
Anthropic announced on Friday that it has received authorization from the U.S. government to allow a small group of U.S. cybersecurity companies access to its powerful artificial intelligence model, Mythos 5.

A spokesperson for Anthropic said the company’s relationship with the Trump administration has been strained for months and that the company will continue discussions with the government “to expand access to Myth 5 and make Fable 5 available to the public again.”
