Tucker Carlson publishes a report he claims he is Detained in Israel. According to the Daily Mail, Carlson claimed that he was detained at the airport when he went to interview Mike Huckabee, the US ambassador to Israel.
However, Carlson’s version of events was refuted by Huckabee himself and a spokesman for the U.S. Embassy there. They denied Carlson was detained and said he “received the same passport control questions as countless visitors to Israel, including Ambassador Huckabee and other diplomats, as part of normal travel into and out of Israel.”
Many of Carlson’s critics like the long-term Donald Trump Ally Laura Loomer rushed to slam the former Fox News host. Now, Carlson is said to have Israel The presence of airport officials sparked more anger against the political commentator.
The alleged video shows three people sitting at a table. They seemed to be signing some documents. When finished, one of them stood next to a person with a blurred face. The person handed the phone to a third person, who clicked a photo of the two. Then, the men left their desks.
In the video circulating online, the person putting his arm around the man whose face is blurred is said to be Carlson. The news has been widely shared among pro-Israel figures on social media. HT.com was unable to independently verify the authenticity of the video.
New video sparks more backlash against Tucker Carlson
As the new video goes viral, anger against Carlson is growing. Internet celebrity Eyal Yakoby commented: “Tucker Carlson is a total liar.”
Loomer also joined in, explain “Absolute proof Tucker Carlson is a complete liar and Jew-hating propagandist! Sharing it with everyone. Tucker made up a fake story and the video proves he lied. How can anyone take this Islamist propagandist seriously anymore?”.
Indian-American right-wing commentator Dinesh D’Souza also criticized wrote “Tucker’s narrative falls apart again… Tucker ‘detained’ in Israel…” shared the video on his profile.
Carlson has yet to respond to the recent controversy or the alleged video. He recently posted a video seeking to explore how Israel treats Christians. “We interviewed a man whose family has lived there since Jesus. His story is shocking,” Carlson wrotesharing his video.
