I think you have a good chance of going all the way. Pochettino’s new era
The World Cup is Pochettino’s biggest test since being appointed head coach of the United States in August 2024.The former Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain manager was brought in to guide the United States through the home World Cup cycle and help the team go further on football’s biggest stage.

The U.S. hosts Paraguay, Australia and Türkiye in Group D.Their first match against Paraguay takes place at the SoFi Arena in Los Angeles, one of the main venues for the tournament that has been expanded to 48 teams.
Trump was absent from the opening game, but the government sent a representative to attend
Despite personally contacting the team, Trump is not expected to attend the opening game against Paraguay.Instead, several members of his administration were scheduled to attend in Los Angeles.The State Department announced that Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy and Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin will attend the game.

In a statement, the department described the World Cup as “a landmark moment for the Trump administration, showcasing American leadership and hospitality to a global audience as the country celebrates its 250th anniversary.”Although Trump will miss the opening game, a White House official told USA Today that he plans to attend the World Cup finals on July 19 at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
