A senior Iranian source told Reuters that Munir, who had mediated the previous round of talks, traveled to Iran to “narrow the differences” between the two sides. “I think you’re going to see amazing things in the next two days,” Trump told ABC News reporter Jonathan Kahl, according to a reporter’s post on X, adding that he didn’t see a need to extend the ceasefire. “I think it’s very close to being over, yes. I mean I think it’s very close to being over,” Trump said in an interview with Fox Business Network on Tuesday that aired Wednesday. “We’ll see what happens. I think they really want to make a deal.”
