Trump says he won’t call Iran conflict ‘war’ because he didn’t ‘approval’, sparking outrage: ‘Big failure’

Donald Trump explained why he avoids using the word “war” during the National Republican Congressional Committee’s (NRCC) annual fundraising dinner on Wednesday, March 25 Iran conflict.

“I won’t use the word ‘war’ because they say if you use the word ‘war’ it’s probably not a good thing,” trump card “They don’t like the word ‘war,’ because you should be sanctioned,” he told Republican lawmakers at Union Station in Washington, D.C. “So, I’m going to use the word ‘military action,’ and that’s what it is. It’s a military massacre.”

The United States and Israel launched the first attack Tehran Late last month. The White House later said it had had “productive conversations” with Iran. However, Tehran has largely rejected the government’s demands, including proposals for a ceasefire.

Under the Constitution, only Congress can declare war. Lawmakers and even Trump himself have used the word “war” to describe the conflict in Iran. Others, however, insist that the United States is not at war.

Since the initial attacks, Democrats in Congress have argued that Trump needs legislative approval before using more military force against Iran. However, the Senate on Tuesday, March 24, rejected the latest Democratic-led effort to curb Trump’s military actions.

Only one Republican, Sen. Rand Paul (Kentucky), voted for the measure. Sen. John Fetterman, D-Pa., joined Republicans in voting down the resolution.

‘This is an absolute disaster’

Trump has faced backlash for his “war” rhetoric, with netizens suggesting he “admits” that he “illegally entered the war without congressional approval.”

“President Trump, some call him president, I call him a traitor,” an X user commented on the above video. One user wrote: “The lack of support for this man when he is prosecuted again is going to be appalling.” While another said, “I was told to do this, I was told to do this,” and it was all an absolute disaster. “

“No, he proudly declares how he tiptoes around constitutional requirements,” one user wrote, while another said, “What a scam – praying for the lives of military personnel threatened by this clown for the good of Israel”. “Either Trump is being misled by his intelligence operatives or he is covering up a colossal failure,” one user wrote.
