Why Trump gave this speech

Trump, who lost to Joe Biden in 2020, has repeatedly claimed without evidence that that year’s election and other elections in the country were rigged. The president continues to promote conspiracy theories despite his own Justice Department, lawsuits and independent research failing to find evidence of significant anomalies, according to Time magazine.
