Jammu: Vigilance forces spotted a suspicious drone along the route control line (LoC) in Gulpur area of Poonch district of J&K on Friday and fired several bullets at it. However, the drone cannot be shot down.The drone then traveled to Siriyan village in Gulpur and allegedly entered the other side of the Line of Actual Control, officials said. “Security forces have stepped up surveillance of the area and launched search operations in the area to ensure there are no airdrops of weapons or drugs,” an official said.Earlier this month, J&K police and BSFOn February 14, during a joint operation near the international border in RS Pura area of Jammu, around 6 kg of drone-dropped drugs worth around Rs 40 crore were recovered.
