He was reportedly the last person to see her before she was taken away. Guthrie went to dinner with Sione’s wife and her daughter, Anne. After dinner, Cione reportedly walked her home. However, Guthrie’s kidnapping brought significant attention to not only the personal lives of Sione and Annie, but also those of Guthrie’s other children – “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie and her brother Camron. Among them, a woman who claimed to be Sioni’s neighbor provided an update.

Tommaso Cioni Update: What the Neighbors Said

The accused neighbor was speaking with an independent reporter who was following Nancy Guthrie’s case. “The woman said she knew Tommaso Cioni from Basic School and said the school was supporting him. She was talking while I was live. The woman said she was Nancy Guthrie’s neighbor,” the person wrote on X.

In the video, the woman can be heard claiming she lives near Joni. She further added that although she did not attend basic school, one of her friend’s children attended there. The woman reportedly said that’s how she accidentally learned of the school’s strong support for Sione.

Authorities yesterday detained a man in connection with Guthrie’s kidnapping but later released him. They also flocked to Anne and Sione’s neighbors. In addition, the family reportedly hired a private investigator. Although the suspect has not been officially named, FBI Director Kash Patel said there may be someone involved in the case.

Online speculation turned to Cione’s bandmates Dominic Evans and Walter Gonsalves, but there was no evidence to support the speculation.
