Carlson’s remarks in video
In a video shared by Loomer, Carlson appeared to criticize Trump’s remarks, saying: “No decent person would mock someone else’s religion… To mock someone else’s faith is to mock faith itself.”
He further said, “No president should mock Islam. That’s not your job… This is not a theocracy.”
Carlson added of the Easter social media post: “Tweeting a profanity-laced tweet on Easter morning…and then saying ‘Praise be to Allah’…you are mocking me and other Christians…that is evil.”
Loomer and Carlson feud continue
The latest exchange isn’t the first time Loomer has publicly targeted Carlson. She has repeatedly criticized him in recent weeks, including calling on Trump to distance himself from the commentator, The Daily Beast reported.
In remarks cited earlier by the outlet, Loomer accused Carlson of undermining Trump and described him as a “national security threat.”
She also previously referred to Carlson as “Tucker Catalson,” a nickname she used in multiple posts, The Daily Beast reported.
