Texas voters head to the polls on Tuesday for high-stakes primary runoffs. The Republican U.S. Senate runoffs have drawn intense national attention as Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton challenges four-term incumbent Sen. John Cornyn.
president Donald Trump Backed Paxton late in the game, calling him a “real MAGA warrior.”
“Ken is a true Make America Great Again fighter who has always served the state of Texas and will continue to do so in the United States Senate,” the president said on The Truth Society.
Trump added: “The highly respected Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton, America’s number one patriot who has been fiercely loyal to me and our amazing and great movement, is running for the United States Senate to represent the place I love and won three elections in 2024 with 6.4 million votes (the most in state history to date)!”
