Tyson “TenZ” Ngo is speaking out after internet rumors began circulating about his past relationship with streamer Kyedae Shymko. The conversation started on social media and quickly gained traction. Some posts claim Kyedae cheated on him with voice actor John Choi. TenZ didn’t stay silent. On February 9, 2026, he responded directly on X after a viral post shared a screenshot of a Reddit page discussing the rumors. His message was clear and direct. He said the stories circulating online were untrue and went too far.He explained that John Choi was a close friend of him and Kyedae. According to TenZ, people online take photos out of context and use them to spread a story that doesn’t exist. He also responded to another false claim that he never donated bone marrow to Kyedae. Later the same day, TenZ shared another post explaining how his years in esports have helped him deal with online hate. As of now, Kyedae has not made any public statement on the matter.

In his first response, Tyson made it clear that these rumors made him uncomfortable. He said people were spreading fabricated stories online and inciting anger without knowing the truth.TenZ wrote that John Choi is a friend of both him and Kyedae Shymko. He explained that the trip in question was one he had originally planned to take but had to cancel at the last minute. He also said another close friend was present, but that person was removed from the shared photo in an effort to change the story.TenZ says people should stop speculating about relationships they don’t belong in. He added that inciting hatred online often comes from personal insecurities rather than facts.He later cleared up the second rumor. TenZ said he never donated bone marrow to Kyedae and has no idea how the story began. He questioned whether people were sharing these claims just to annoy others and gain attention online.Later in the day, TenZ posted again that competitive gaming helped him develop a thicker skin. He wrote that his years in esports have made him less susceptible to online hate. He also joked that people interacting with his posts are helping him earn money on the platform. As of now, Kyedae has not responded publicly. TenZ’s statement remains the only direct clarification on the situation.
