Under the proposal, DMK plans to provide Rs 8,000 voucher to women to buy new home appliances or replace existing ones.Tamil Nadu will go to polls in phases on April 23 and counting of votes is scheduled for May 4.The main contest is expected to be between the DMK-led Secular Progressive Alliance, which includes indian national congress partyDMDK and VCK, and the NDA led by the AIADMK, as well as the BJP and PMK.
