New Delhi: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi lashed out wednesday Artificial Intelligence Impact Summitcalling it an “unorganized public relations spectacle.”In a social media post byRahul said: “Instead of leveraging India’s talent and data, the AI summit was a disorganized PR extravaganza – Indian data was sold and Chinese products were showcased.”Rahul also cited a Congress post saying the Modi government has made India a “global laughing stock” in terms of artificial intelligence. “At the ongoing Artificial Intelligence Summit, China’s robots are being showcased as our own. The Chinese media is laughing at us, which is really embarrassing for India. Even more embarrassing is Modi’s minister Ashwini Vashno are indulging in the same lies to promote Chinese robots at the India summit,” the party said.“The Modi government has done irreparable damage to the country’s image – they have turned artificial intelligence into a joke – and with our data capabilities, we can become a world leader in this field,” it added.Previously, Galgotia University demonstrated a robot dog named “Orion” at the Artificial Intelligence Summit Expo. However, the university faced a backlash as critics claimed the product was actually a Chinese-made Unitree Go2 rather than an in-house innovation.Meanwhile, news agency PTI quoted government sources as saying that Galgotias University has been asked to vacate its stall at the Artificial Intelligence Summit Expo immediately.
