Toronto police are investigating after a shooting occurred at the U.S. Consulate in downtown Toronto, Ont., on Tuesday morning, authorities said. Police responded to the scene near University Avenue and Queen Street West around 5:29 a.m. local time after receiving reports of shots fired inside the consulate building.When police arrived, they found evidence of a shooting and signs of gunfire on parts of the consulate property.No injuries were reported and no arrests were made. Toronto police said they have no information on a suspect, motive or possible suspects. Investigators remain on scene and a portion of University Avenue has been closed while the investigation continues.
