New Delhi: India and Royal Challengers Bangalore batting stars Virat Kohli Tributes to former Punjab cricketers Amanpreet Singh Gill passed away at the age of 36 in Chandigarh on Wednesday.Kohli, who shared the dressing room with Gill during his early days with India’s under-19 team, posted an emotional post on social media expressing shock and sadness over Gill’s untimely death.
Kohli wrote onGill is a right-arm medium pacer who has played six first-class games for Punjab and also featured in the inaugural season of the IPL for Kings XI Punjab. He represented India in a few junior ODIs and three-day junior Tests in 2007 and toured England, Malaysia and Sri Lanka during his junior cricket career.
