New Delhi: Union Home Minister Amit Shah Describing the passage of the Jan Vishwas Bill 2026 in Parliament as a “huge step” in improving ease of living and ease of doing business in India. “Cutting several legal provisions will make Modi’s vision of a new India a great reality by making life easier and business simpler for all,” the home minister said in a post on Thursday night. Parliament on Thursday passed the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Articles) Bill, 2026 to amend 784 sections in 79 central laws to legalize and rationalize petty crimes to further improve the business environment and curb harassment.
