“@SavannahGuthrie is nothing but obnoxious to President Trump, yet he still goes out of his way to help her,” Loomer wrote on X, sharing Trump’s post about directing federal law enforcement to help the Guthrie family.
“He was an amazing man with a great heart and I wish more people knew how kind he was,” Loomer added. “I love President Trump. He makes me want to be a better person. But then I remember how annoying people can be.”
Trump’s comments about Savannah, however, were completely different from Loomer’s views. He previously called the situation “terrible,” and told reporters in the Oval Office after signing legislation to end the partial government shutdown, “I think it’s a terrible thing. Savannah and I have always gotten along. It’s a very unusual situation, but we’ll find out,” The Hill reported.
Asked if he would commit to sending more federal agents to help find Nancy, Trump responded: “Of course.”
Donald Trump’s latest comments on Nancy Guthrie case
In his latest comments on the case, Trump said he had directed federal law enforcement to help Nancy get home safely. Arizona State Police revealed on Monday, February 2, that Nancy Possibly abducted from her Tucson home. While she’s asleep.

Trump had previously reached out to Savannah to offer support in the search for her mother. According to NBC News, the US president expressed sympathy for the family and promised to use all available federal resources to investigate.
Savannah Guthrie’s political leanings
Savannah has not revealed whether she is a Republican or a Democrat, and is widely seen as maintaining a professional and centrist public image. She is famous for her interviews with several U.S. presidents during their respective presidencies. She also moderated several presidential debates.
In 2011, Savannah interviewed Obama about the “birthplace” controversy before Trump became president. In 2016, she hosted a Trump town hall with former co-host Matt Lauer.
