Authorities have launched a search for two brothers who disappeared after their “severely depressed” father, Dane Stephen Richman, skipped a custody exchange. Utah Saturday, May 23, according to the New York Post.

Dann, 46, was charged kidnapping His two sons, Will Richman, almost 2, and Wesley Richman, 10 months old, died sometime last week, the children’s aunt said on Facebook. The children have not been seen since Richman picked them up from their mother’s home in Shelton, Washington, on May 16.

“My sister’s children were abducted, if anyone in Utah, Ohio, the Washington area or surrounding states sees these boys or the man we suspect took them, please call 911 or the Saratoga Police Department. We need your help and prayers for these boys,” Kate Walters wrote on Facebook.

She added, “They’re almost two, almost one. Their names are Will and Wesley. The man who owns them is Dane Richman. He drives a black Toyota sedan.”

Kate further wrote, “Dane’s license plate is A561HL and he is believed to be driving a black 2025 Toyota Camry. We know he is not driving a white Toyota Tundra.”

Issue an AMBER Alert

Dane disappeared while he and his ex-partner were embroiled in a custody dispute. He is expected to hand the children over to their mother on Saturday at their home in Saratoga Springs, Utah. However, he never showed up, according to an Amber Alert issued by the Utah Department of Public Safety.

Dane was “severely depressed,” facing financial ruin and “abandoned his home after selling his property,” the alert said. It states the children may be “in imminent danger of serious bodily harm or death”.

Dane missed a custody deposition with his attorney on Friday. He is believed to be driving a black 2025 Toyota Camry with license plate number A561HL. Police said his car may have had a temporary tag.

Meanwhile, Utah issued an additional electronic AMBER Alert for mobile devices Sunday morning.
