Salt Lake City wildfires: Maps and evacuation updates, video shows Bonneville Fire burning near University of Utah Hospital

SLCFD shared several updates about X.
“We are currently fighting a grass fire near 1950 East Circle of Hope Drive. No structures are currently threatened. Please avoid the area and avoid flying drones in the area. PIO is en route,” The post read.
“The media stage is located at North Campus Drive and East Medical Drive. This is a 50+ acre fire. There are multiple SLCFD units on scene as well as state and federal assets,” follow up post read.

While not much information has been revealed yet about possible evacuations, ABC4 reporters Wang Bayan shared a video Aviation assets responding to fire.
“Additional aviation assets are responding to a 50-acre fire behind the University of Utah Hospital and School of Medicine. It’s very dry and breezy. Local, state and federal fire crews are on scene, according to SLCFD,” Wang wrote in the video.
