Sahibzada Farhan On Wednesday, he wrote history by becoming the second Pakistan batsman to score a century in the T20 World Cup. The right-handed batsman accomplished the feat when he hit a single off a delivery from Namibia skipper Gerhard Erasmus in Pakistan’s final innings.He achieved the feat with 57 balls and a strike rate of 175.43 for Pakistan in a must-win game to keep alive their hopes of qualifying for the Super 8s in the T20 World Cup.Farhan became the second Pakistani player to score a century in the tournament after Ahmed Shehzad against Bangladesh in Mirpur in 2014.Farhan hit a total of 11 boundaries and 4 sixes while scoring 67 runs (38 off 23 balls) with captain Salman Agha and 81 runs (36 not out 22 balls) with Shadab Khan to help Pakistan post a formidable 199 for three against Namibia.Shadab ended Pakistan’s innings with a couple of sixes in the final over against Erasmus. This comes after Pakistan won their T20 World Cup group match at the Sinhala Sports Club Stadium in Colombo on Wednesday and chose to face Namibia.Pakistan made two changes to the team that lost to India on Sunday.The team dropped run-spinner Shaheen Shah Afridi and leg-spinner Abrar Ahmed. Salman Mirza and Khawaja Nafay have been named as replacements for the duo.
