Despite weeks of sustained attacks by the United States and Israel, Iran has retained a “significant” portion of its missile and drone arsenal, CNN reported, citing a recent U.S. intelligence assessment.
Roughly half of Iran’s missile launchers are intact, as are thousands of its unidirectional attack drones, leaving the country “prepared to wreak absolute havoc across the region,” the source said.
The findings appear to contrast with U.S. President Donald Trump’s public claims that Iran’s military has been “crushed” and its launch capabilities “severely reduced.”
While U.S. officials say the operation significantly reduced the scale of Iran’s attacks, intelligence shows the country still maintains considerable firepower and the ability to sustain attacks.
