New Delhi: A political row broke out in RS during Question Hour on Tuesday after BJP MP Samik Bhattacharya raised the issue of land encroachment at Kolkata Port and said the area has been openly called “Little Pakistan” by Kolkata Mayor and Trinamool MLA.Amid protests by opposition MPs, especially TMC, MoS ports, shipping and waterways Shantanu Thakur Acknowledging that most of the port land has been encroached upon, a court case was filed but the authorities were unable to vacate the land.TMC members protested in the aisles, while NCP-SP’s Fauzia Khan urged the chairman to delete the sentence.
