New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi once again topped global popularity charts with an approval rating of 68% in the latest Morning Consult survey, reaffirming his status as the world’s most popular democratic leader.The US-based data analytics firm said 26% of respondents disapproved of Modi’s leadership, while 6% were undecided. The ratings are based on a rolling seven-day simple moving average of public opinion among adults in each country surveyed.
Modi continues to have a clear lead over his global peers. Swiss President Guy Parmelin follows with an approval rating of 62%, and South Korean President Lee Jae-myung ranks third with a similar approval rating, but a higher disapproval rating.Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney ranked seventh with 55% approval rating.
