New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the Uttarakhand government led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on completing its four-year term and praised its efforts in driving development, ensuring good governance and promoting public welfare across the state.Responding to the Prime Minister’s message, Dhami expressed gratitude and reiterated the government’s commitment to development. He posted onDhami added that the state’s progress over the past four years reflects the trust and collective determination of the people under Modi’s leadership. “Our government, adhering to the core mantras of public service, transparency and inclusive development, is delivering on its resolve to build a strong and self-reliant Uttarakhand,” he said.He further emphasized that Uttarakhand will continue to contribute towards the vision of ‘Developed India-2047’, adding that with the support of the Centre, the state will continue to achieve new milestones.According to an official statement, Prime Minister Modi in his speech emphasized that under the “dynamic leadership” of Prime Minister Dhami, Uttarakhand has made rapid progress in various fields. He also highlighted the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the state, describing it as ‘Devbhoomi’, a land known for its beliefs, traditions and diversity.The Prime Minister noted that Uttarakhand has been making steady progress towards the vision of ‘Developed India’. He pointed out key infrastructure initiatives including the Chardham all-weather road project aimed at making pilgrimage safer and more convenient, and the Rishikesh-Kanaprayag railway line which is expected to significantly boost rail connectivity in the region.Modi further appreciated the government’s efforts to improve connectivity in border areas and promote winter tourism, saying these efforts strengthened local economies and helped curb migration. He also praised initiatives aimed at promoting local products, empowering women, creating employment opportunities for youth, supporting start-ups and promoting digital and green development.The Prime Minister stressed the importance of preparedness and highlighted the role of a sound disaster management system and sustainable development in ensuring the long-term progress of the hill state.Prime Minister Modi is confident about the future of Uttarakhand and said that during the “Amrit Khar” period, the state’s contribution to building a “developed India” will continue to grow.
