Fire breaks out at a recycling facility in Estrela region PhoenixArizona, Sunday afternoon. Black smoke from the fire could be seen across the city this afternoon as Phoenix Fire Department crews responded.
The Phoenix Fire Department said the fire has been completely extinguished. “There are no reports of injuries and the cause is under investigation,” the department added.

A driver in Estrela shared another video of the fire on the Citizen app. The video, recorded from inside a moving car on a nearby road, shows black smoke billowing from the recycling yard. Here is the video:
The Estrella area is an area southwest of Phoenix. It is typically centered around Estrella Village, one of Phoenix’s designated urban villages.
