Wind speeds are likely to be between 20-30 km/h, with gusts up to 40-50 km/h, especially in the afternoon and evening.The weather change has been attributed to active western disturbance and cyclonic circulation affecting northwest India, leading to increased thunderstorm activity in the region.The rainfall has caused temperatures to drop, with maximum temperatures expected to drop from around 32–34°C to 26–28°C over the next two days, still below normal for this time of year. The minimum temperature is likely to remain between 16°C and 20°C.The brief rains provided some relief from the early summer heat and improved overall weather conditions in the city.The IMD advises residents to take precautions, exercise caution during thunderstorms, avoid flooded areas and trees, and drive with caution.
