New Delhi: The Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force killed two Pakistani terrorists in a joint operation in Pasangarh district on Wednesday. Jammu and Kashmir Police said the terrorists were neutralized in a fierce encounter in Pasangarh district following a coordinated operation by the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police and Central Reserve Police Force.The clashes began around 4 pm after security forces established contact with the terrorists based on specific intelligence. Officials said a cordon and search operation has been launched in Chopal-Mata village area of Ramnagar tehsil after receiving information about suspected militant activities.Terrorists believed to be hiding in the forest opened fire on the troops, prompting security forces to retaliate and the situation escalated into a firefight.
