“It’s unclear if this was an accident or an attack,” he said. “I don’t know the American singer Oliver Terry who was with him, but I’ve received a lot of messages and I believe it wasn’t an accident. To me, it was an attack.”
Ricciardo did not explain what led him to suspect an attack, and authorities said the cause of the crash remains under investigation and could take up to five years to complete.

Gaspi’s family speaks out after tragedy
Ricardo described his grief as “indescribable” but said he found some comfort in the support of others. “I know Gaspi is no longer here and my life would be very difficult without him,” he said. “Every hug they gave me, I felt like Gaspi was hugging me. In this dehumanizing moment, something incredible happened to me. I ended up hugging people I didn’t know. Gaspi makes us more human.”
He added: “I’m strong but I never thought I’d feel like this. The psychologist told me it would be worse if I was alone, so I came to the bookstore.”
He concluded: “He was my little boy. The pain you feel when you lose a child, especially one like him, is indescribable… He died in a very unjust way. This pain belongs to Gaspi, not us. He was in his prime. He was only 23 years old.”

“There’s nothing better than having a child and knowing that he can do whatever he wants to do.” She added that her son “somehow learned to fly and now he’s in the sky watching over us.”
Gaspi was aboard one of the helicopters along with Oliver Terry, Argentinian director Lucas Vignale, Brazilian music producer Lucas Brito Chavez and pilot Alexander Souza.
