New Delhi: National Security Advisor (NSA) Ajit Doval on Sunday called UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss steps to deepen strategic partnership. The discussion also focused on recent developments in West Asia and their implications for regional and international security and stability, as well as global energy security issues.When meeting with the President of the United Arab Emirates, Doval also conveyed the greetings of the President of the United Arab Emirates. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and discussed measures to deepen bilateral relations. The meeting was also attended by Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council Ali bin Hamad Al Shamsi.The Indian Embassy in the UAE posted onAccording to the UAE state-run news agency WAM. Doval conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Modi and the UAE President also conveyed his greetings to the Indian leader and wished India and its people further development and prosperity.This is India’s second high-level visit to the UAE. Earlier this month, Jaishankar called on UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi and conveyed greetings from Prime Minister Modi.Jaishankar noted the robustness of the India-UAE strategic partnership and noted that despite the complex regional environment, the ongoing dialogue between the two countries remains strong and transparent.
