Fans have always wondered who the voice is behind the characters in the game. Night School Studio hired a diverse cast of actors to bring the storm-damaged apartment to life, giving the game real emotional depth through text messages and phone calls.
Whose voice is it?
Zoe Kravitz Voiced by Ava, she finds herself trapped in a violent storm raging outside. Kravitz is known for a string of high-profile live-action roles, including The Batman, the Divergent movies, Mad Max: Fury Road and the critically acclaimed series Big Little Lies.
The actors’ performances anchor the player’s emotional connection to the unfolding crisis, conveying quiet determination in moments of isolation and tense moments of high-stakes decision-making.
Sadie Sink Voiced by Claire, she is Ava’s closest friend and primary link to the outside world. Zink is widely recognized for his role as Max Mayfield in Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and has also had stellar performances in the “Fear Street” trilogy and “Whales.” The actress conveys warmth, urgency and a hint of panic, guiding players through calm moments before veering into suspenseful urgency with each call.

Troy Baker voices building manager Ben. Baker is a video game voice actor best known for his roles as Joel in The Last of Us, Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, and Sam Drake in Uncharted 4. The performers’ performances support the game’s shifting loyalties and the audience’s need to discern truth and fear in a rapidly changing environment.
