The message read: “Mom, we miss you so much! Our hearts are broken! We stand on ashes, on scorched earth! But mom, even though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright.”
A memorial outside the home has grown in recent weeks, with community members leaving candles, photos and handwritten cards offering prayers and support. The family’s visit was described as emotional, with relatives hugging each other as they paused to read eulogies.

One month after missing
Nancy was reported missing on February 1st. Authorities said they were investigating the suspected kidnapping. Law enforcement officials previously confirmed that blood was found inside the residence.
Footage from the doorbell camera also showed a masked person near the front door who appeared to be holding what investigators said was a gun and tampering with the device.
