According to NewsNation, the card read: “Mom, we miss you so much! Our hearts are broken. We stand on ashes, on the nicked earth! But mom, even though we are surrounded by so much darkness and uncertainty, our love burns bright. We love you, mom. We miss you so much. Our best friend!!”
Members of the Guthrie family are closely linked to the 84-year-old’s disappearance. Tommaso Cioni, in particular, became a tabloid target after a NewsNation reporter named him as a potential suspect. However, the Pima County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the family’s innocence in the case, noting that they have been fully cooperative.
