Nancy Guthrie Case: Savannah Guthrie shares emotional childhood video of mom and sister Annie

The search for 84-year-old Nancy is now in its 12th day, with Savannah and her siblings, Anne and Karen Guthrie, posting several videos asking for information about their mother.

An emergency search was launched on February 1 after Nancy was last seen on January 31. The Pima County Sheriff’s Department informed PEOPLE on February 11 that the investigation into the possibility that “Nancy is still alive” is “still ongoing.”

A heartfelt plea from Savannah Guthrie

In a video shared on Instagram, Guthrie shared a touching throwback family video of her mother’s sweet family time during her childhood in Savannah.

In the old video, Guthrie and her three children are seen holding flowers outside a brick house. The video ends with a black-and-white photo of Guthrie holding her son Camron and daughters Savannah and Anne.

Savannah wrote in the caption: “Our sweet mom. We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and wishes.”

Investigation progress

Nancy GuthrieA potential suspect was recorded on the doorbell camera, and his images and video were released by the FBI on February 10.

As Nancy’s whereabouts remain under investigation, Savannah posted multiple updates on her Instagram. Video and images of an armed man captured on surveillance footage the night Nancy disappeared were also ones she had posted earlier.

The Sheriff’s Department later said the man was released without charge after deputies acknowledged they had “detained a person of possible interest” in the disappearance on Feb. 10.
