President of the United States Donald Trump The United States warned on Tuesday that the United States would “bomb” Iran if an agreement was not reached that “protects” the interests of the United States and the international community. His comments came ahead of the end of a fragile two-week ceasefire on Tuesday night (Washington time). There are also uncertainties in the second round of talks between the two sides in Pakistan’s capital Islamabad. The country held the first round of talks on April 11 and 12 but ended in failure.

“The military can’t wait to get out,” the Republican said in a phone interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box.” “If we can’t come to a deal that protects our interests and the world, we’re going to bomb. It’s that simple. I anticipate bombing because I think that’s the better attitude.”“But we’re ready to go. I mean, the military is eager to go. They’re absolutely incredible,” he added.Trump also said he was not in favor of extending the ceasefire beyond the current April 22 deadline, saying Tehran had “no choice.”“I don’t want to do it (extend the ceasefire). We don’t have that much time because when the two sides get there, as you know, they just get permission to go ahead and I know they’re going to do it anyway. I don’t think they have a choice. They have to negotiate,” the president said.A ceasefire agreed earlier this month provides space for diplomatic talks, but remains fragile. Both Washington and Tehran have expressed concerns about how to comply with the agreement. On February 28, the United States and Israel launched joint strikes across Iran. The Islamic Republic retaliated, leading to the beginning of ongoing conflict in the Middle East.(and Year enter)
