Middle East war: Abu Dhabi missile catches fire after interception, 5 Indians injured

Five Indian nationals were injured on Saturday when debris fell in the UAE after a ballistic missile was intercepted near Khalifa Economic Zone (KEZAD) in Abu Dhabi.According to the Abu Dhabi Media Office, the incident occurred near KEZAD and the air defense system successfully intercepted the incoming missile, causing debris to fall in the area.Officials confirmed that five people were injured in the aftermath, with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

“After the air defense system successfully intercepted a ballistic missile, an incident caused by falling debris occurred near the Khalifa Economic Zone in Abu Dhabi. As part of follow-up operations, authorities confirmed that the incident had caused moderate to minor injuries to five Indian nationals,” the statement said.Authorities urge the public to rely only on verified information and avoid spreading rumors. “The public is advised to obtain information only from official sources and avoid spreading rumors or unverified information,” the statement added.There were no further details on the condition of the injured or other damage.
